Based in the heart of Christchurch town centre, Food Fest Local gives you the opportunity to enjoy a taste of Christchurch from our fantastic local hospitality businesses on the High Street, whilst enjoying a selection of food traders and local entertainment across the weekend.
The High Street will be lined with food traders offering artisan foods and traditional fayre, alongside specialist makers and local entertainers who cannot wait to share their excellence with you across the weekend of the
23rd & 24th May 2026.
The High Street is set to come alive with food stalls, music, family entertainment and more.

What's on...

FOOD & DRINK
A wonderful selection of food and drink from a wide variety of traders from in and around the Christchurch, Dorset and the South West. Food Fest Local will bring you a sample of the amazing local culinary offerings with plenty of breweries and distilleries to provide you with an all important refreshment or two to quench your thirst!
LIVE MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT
The High Street will come alive with music provided by local live performances across the weekend, plus the wonderful Funky Little Beach Choir. There will be plenty of seating areas to relax, enjoy the food and drink and while away the time soaking in the atmosphere.
We have introduced a family zone to Saxon Square, including have a go circus area on Saturday and Sunday, provided by Steamship Circus - come along and have a go! There'll be deckchairs to relax in while the kids have fun and enjoy the circus skills available.
FOOD & DRINK TRADERS
Pitch applications will open in September 2025 for the 2026 Food Fest Local!
If you are a local food trader and would like to apply for a stand at our 2026 event, please email louise@christchurchbid.co.uk.
BID levy businesses have privileged access to the application process. After the 1st November 2026, the application process will be opened up to companies outside the BID area to ensure a full roster of pitches for another outstanding event. Please apply as soon as possible as spaces are filling fast!
